Sara was an only child who grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She loved soccer, field hockey, and sushi. After graduating college, she decided to venture south for graduate school which eventually brought her to Swansboro, North Carolina for employment. 

Rich grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his parents and two yonger siblings, Kait and Kev. He was raised with a love for sports espically baseball. After graduating from Widner University with his DPT in physpical therapy, he joined the United States Navy and quickly relocated to Jacksonville, North Carolina to fulfill his orders.
